About Sue

Over the years Sue Gallucci has lived in Rhode Island, California, Florida, South Dakota and Minnesota. After earning her Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in the field of Psychology Sue has been a Licensed Mental Health Professional since 1986. Sue currently holds the highest level of licensure afforded by the Minnesota Board of Social Work serving in her private practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Over the years she has worked in several settings where she has gained a plethora of experiences. Her first jobs were in psychiatric hospitals in a locked, 30-day mandated stay unit and in an emergency psychiatric admissions unit. Sue has also worked in both alternative and traditional school settings as well as adoption and early child and family education settings. She has pulled all of those experiences and more into her current Private Practice as a Psychotherapist. Sue enjoys working with a variety of clients with a full range of presenting problems and concerns. Sue would find working/specializing in one area redundant and she believes you have to look at the whole picture of a person's life to help them in a holistic way.

In addition to being a prominent Psychotherapist, Sue Gallucci has provided motivational speaking at Business Conferences, Medical Clinics, and to general audiences speaking on the important and relevant issues of mental health, happiness and well being. She has also made repeated guest appearance on various radio shows like Talking Steele with Jearlyn Steele and the Tom Barnard Show. Sue has also been featured in articles such as The Lake Minnetonka Magazine and The Plymouth Magazine.

When Sue in not working to promote mental health, happiness and wellbeing at a professional level she loves helping charities. For years now Sue has helped the Sanneh Foundation serving underprivileged youth through their soccer and youth mentoring programs as well as The Red Affair benefiting Avenues for Youth – a teen homeless shelter here in Minneapolis. Besides that Sue has put on hosted charity events for The Sanneh Foundation, Guild Incorporated, American Heart Association, Gilda’s Club, Connections to Independence, Lutheran Social Services, Karen Cares and Minnesota Breast Cancer Coalition, just to name a few.
